REET which is an abbreviation for Rajasthan Eligibility Examination for Teachers, also known as Rajasthan Teacher Eligibility Test (RTET) is an examination conducted by the Board of Secondary Education, Rajasthan (BSER). REET 2022 is scheduled for May 14-15, 2022. Candidates who qualify for the written examination will be sent call letters for an interview. The examination is bilingual i.e., the question paper will be set in English and Hindi language.
As per the announcement made by the Education Minister on the 3rd of June, 2021, the certificates of all TET examinations will be valid for a lifetime. Earlier, it was valid only for 3 years from the time of qualification.

REET 2022: Probation Period
- The probation period starts after the completion of the recruitment process which is of 2 years.
- During the probation period, the teachers only receive the basic salary.
- The candidate starts receiving salary as per the 10th level pay matrix after the confirmation of the appointment.

Apart from the salary, a teacher gets several allowances such as

REET 2022: Job Profile
- REET Level 1 Teachers: Teach classes 1 to 5
- REET Level II Teachers: Teach classes 6 to 8
- Guide and help students who are academically weak.
- Prepare lessons according to the curriculum
- Conduct Parent-Teacher Meetings once in a while to discuss a child’s performance and progress.
